Suddenly, MyBook is missing from Smartware. Originally I could not log into MyBook from Smartware but now its disappeared altogether. I have tried all suggested solutions from WD Support but nothing has worked up to now. Anyone got ideas?

When you mentioned WD Support, are you referring to WD Technical Support or the WD Support website?
Good question. Via the support website. Anyway, looks like its my AVG
firewall that is causing the problem. Since the last update to AVG last
week, AVG have changed the firewall settings available. The problem is i
have no idea what i have to do to allow MyBook through the firewall even
though the option to allow windows sharing for files etc is turned on in
AVG
