Lastest OS on my iMac, latest firmware on the WD utilities app. Using a 8tb
Every time my computer goes to sleep the WD drive crashes. Softwares that are using data stored on the drive crashes too. It also causes my iMac to be unable to shut down, the spinning colour wheel constantly spins and this will carry on until I turn off the main power supply. I’ve tried deactivating the sleep timer on the drive through WD utilities and playing around with the energy saving options on the iMac but NOTHING WORKS. PLEASE HELP.
