MyBook connection has failed HP Elite 800 Ge Win10

Client has been using 2 MyBooks one 2TB and the other 4TB without issue on his HP ELITE 800 G2 all in one for months. Win10

Suddenly they do not show up in File Explorer nor do they show up in Admin Tools → Computer Management ->Hard Drives

I uninstalled all the USB related drivers in Device Manager and rebooted with negative results.

Other USB devices work fine in the ELITE computer.

Tested the MyBooks in a Win7 laptop and they work fine.

Downloaded the WD MyBook utility program to the ELITE and they do not see the MyBooks either.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Could be recent Windows 10 update. Others having similar problems. But I have not with my Passport. Check other Community questions for solutions.
