My 1 TB Easystore External Drive was working fine with my Surface Pro tablet computer - I scanned in a bunch of photos for a book I’m working on. Today I connected the drive to my Surface 3 Laptop to start editing the photos and 1) the laptop won’t recognize the drive, and 2) in Device Manager under WD Drive Management Devices it shows WD SES Device but when I click on it, the msg displays: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (Code 31). I HAVE DOWNLOADED DRIVERS FROM THE WESTERN DIGITAL WEBSITE. Any ideas how to correct this? THANKS!
