My 1 T WD External hard drive is not reading on my PC, it starts spining inside then goes silent but lights keep blinking, what can i do?

I have treied still no solution, the link blinks, the WD 1T starts spinning then suddenly goes silent, it tries to show on PC but latter disapears. very stressed now pls help
it does but disappears again
