Might it be common practice to incorporate a “date” on a “subfolder” only on computer receiving the backup (a laptop)… possibly as shown below without having odd repercussions when ‘My Passport’ is returned to the original computer for continued “Continuous Backup”?
(Date in this instance is “180219”) & would be shown like such in front of the subfolder’s original name, i.e.“180219 S-P-R-E-A-D Sheets”…
Hierarchy:
"My Passport (H:)"
WD Smartware.swstor
GIGABYTE
Volume.eed5bd21.f24a.11de.9b71.806e6f6e6963
S-P-R-E-A-D Sheets
Reason being is that I do not intend to backup the laptop very often, but would like to know how long it’s been since last backup easily !
