My Passport Ultra Files Not Showing on Media Player

Hey everyone:

I have a Micca Speck Media Player. It works fine with every flash drive I’ve tried it with. However I have four WD external hard drives. When I hook any of them up to the media player it detects the drive but shows no content. I don’t mean it won’t play the files, but rather it shows the hard drives as empty. All four of the drives work fine on my computer.

My question is, is there some kind of setting I’m not aware of that needs to be changed on my hard drives to allow the content to be detected by the media player.

The four WD drives I have are:

Passport Ultra Portable External Hard Drive - USB

There doesn’t seem to be any settings on the media player that could help so I figured maybe I’m missing something that needs to be changed on the hard drive settings to make it play with a media player.

check your hard drives to see if they are GPT Partitioned … if they are, format/convert them to MBR
