I have critical data stored on this drive. When I plug it into USB port, the WD encryption software opens and the drive password is requested. The CORRECT password is then typed in but the software reports that the password is incorrect, I need to recover the data on this hard drive. Please note the drive was NOT subjected to any fall or other incident that may have caused a fault. Could you please offer assistance with this problem.

Tried different computers different cable. I have another drive, My passport Ultra 2GB which works perfectly with all my computers. Is data recovery the only other option
