ok… my wd passort essential failed to be recognized by my PC. YEs, it does make clicking noise! but not continous. only a few at startup. what should i do? any pointtrying a new usb cable? tried looking up a bunch of data recovery software and stuff, but dont work. warranty still work so should i sent it? or is there another way?
the little white light is still on, but no flashing at all. there would be a few clicks in the beginning. is this identifiable?
ummm with warranty RMA process, how do i pakage my passport essential? is a bubble envelope alright? i says only static bag is need for internal drive. i don’t need a box for this small thing do i?
