I’ve already reached support, they send me a new cabel but it still happeans, any tips on how to try and solve this?

Check the power settings on both computeres.

Goes to control panel and then power options. depending on the option that you have selected, look for change plan settings and then change advance power settings.

Also you might need to check the USB settings on the bios of your computer.

Hi, thanks for replying,

As i mentioned before, i had alreaddy disabled all sleep settings of the battery settings (usb and disk).

Other than that’ i went to the asus bios and there is no usb setting avaible. Altough i find this hardly to be  the  problem because it happens on 2 different machines.

Another detail that might be usefull is that the problem occurs either if the drive isn’t being used or is being used (reading, copying fro, etc)

What might be the cause?
