I give up. How do I find out what firmware this is running??

You will be able to see the information about the drive through the WD utilities, once you install and open the WD Utilities, just put the mouse on top of the drive that appears on the screen and it will display the information about the unit.

Yea, I found that before I posted. Using the utility firmware revision 1042 is what shows. On the firmware download page it lists Windows release 3.2.5.1 (updated 9/24/2014).
My confusion is “firmware revision 1042” seems nothing at all like the the firmware listed on the download page. I’d just like to know if I had the latest version & the revision # doesn’t seem to do that.
