My Passport 500GB Problems

Hi guys, i recently bought myself a WD ‘My Passport’ 500GB External HardDrive… all was working well untill one day i plug it in and it is not recognised. I have tried out 4 other PC’s and none of them are picking up that the hard drive is even there. All that happens when i plug it in is that a white light flashes constantlty on the side. If i listen closely to it, it sounds like its trying to boot, then makes 2 low pitched beeps at different tones. It does this around 5-6 times and then stops.

Plug it into a Linux machine, wait 10 seconds and then type “dmesg” in a terminal. Post the result here and I’ll probably be able to advise.
