My passport 0730 possibly bricked?

This thing is only 3 months old and has less than 150gb of data on it (albeit important. It just ceased to work recently. It shows up in device manager under drives and usb (as mass storage). I does not however show up under my computer or autoplay as it used to. The light remains solid white and I can’t hear or feel it spinning. Is there anything I can do about this to retrieve the data? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Is this a powered or USB powered drive? What OS and does it show in Disk Management? USB drives are really sensitive to voltage and a lot of computers use pretty wimpy power supplies. WD dows make a Power Booster cable for them.

Thanks for the reply. It is a usb powered 1tb drive. The OS is Windows 7 Home Premium and I don’t see it on disk management. It shows up on WD Lifeguard Tools sometimes, but when I run a scan this is what it says:
