Please help me!

My Mac suddenly doesn´t show the icon of my external drive when I connect it. Is there a way to search for the disk, or a way to save my data?

I have a:

WD1600XMS-00

sn. [Deleted]

rn: A4B

please help!

Check on Disk Utility ( Applications>Utility>Disk Utility) If it’s showing there you might be able to recover the data and

partition the drive. Also try on a different Mac, different cable.
