My Fuze has died, and now it works again. Is this normal? (updated message)

My previous message is below, so you can see what the problem was. It is about twelve hours later, and I was getting ready to take my player back to the store, when I decided to give it one more try. This time, it came right on! This is great, but now I’m wondering if this is something I should expect to happen again, or if it’s still defective and I should still return it?

Thank you for reading.

—previous message—

I was listening to my Fuze earlier, when it suddenly stopped. It was fully charged, and had only been on for a couple of hours, so I know the battery didn’t die.

I came home and plugged it in, and it didn’t come on as it usually does, and my computer doesn’t say that it’s connected.

I tried to look for information about this, and I found something suggesting holding the power switch for 10 seconds. I tried that, though, and it didn’t work either.

Can anyone think of another way to help me, or should I just take it back to the store?

Thanks for reading.

If you feel like it, you can try the Connection Troubleshooter.

It’s written for the E200 but the Fuze is similar.

Or you could take it back to the store while it’s under warranty.

Thank you for the response. I tried that as well, but it also didn’t work. I suppose I will have to just take it back.

Thank you again.

Okay, now suddenly it works again… but now I’m worried.

…I just edited the first post for my new question. I hope that’s okay.

it sounds like it was frozen. if it happens again try a soft reset by holding the power slider up for about 10 to 15 sec.
