My Book Thunderbolt Duo 6TB

My Thunderbolt Duo has performed faithfully since January 2012. Since yesterday, I get “Failed quick drive test” and “Failed complete drive test” messages.

A few days ago, it told me it was rebuilding one drive of the mirrored RAID.

Under “RAID management” I see today that both A & B drives’ status are “online” with the mirrored RAID functioning.

I recently upgraded to Big Sur 11.5.2 —

  1. Could that be the issue?
  2. Does WD have Drive Utilities software for current Macs?

The Duo passed the Quick Drive test yesterday and again today … but failed the Complete Drive Test yesterday and twice today …

How worried should I be???

Did you ever get this resolved?? I’m having the same issue!

I did not get a resolution … when I seek new software, it says my serial number is not recognized. Of course it is labelled Thunderbolt Duo …
