Huge mistake I thought the hardware decryption key is on the HDD, so I threw the closure away, but the data recovery center say the key is on the chipset rom for this model, it is impossible to decrypt without the chipset, i would like to know the is it 0% of getting the data back without the chipset.
and if possible anyone know the chipset model for this WD My Book Model and the encryption standard?
