My Book Studio II new disks not showing in disk utilities

Hello all
I put 2 new disks (wd green 4tb) in my My Book Studio II (org. 2x 2tb and working but full). I want it in Raid1 configured but WD Drive Utilities (v. 2.0.3.30) doen’t see the disk. I did format the disk as Extended Journald with Osx disk utilities. So its now 1x 8tb disk. but it needs to be mirrored. Help is much appreciated. Im running on Osx 10.11.5. Best Kos
