We just installed My Book Live and the network shows up on both our desktop and laptop. It seems, though, that it has been interferring with the laptop. None of the USB ports will be recognize, and the laptop doesn’t shut down. We are running Windows 7 on both machines. We took the laptop to Best Buy and it worked fine, all the USB ports were being recognized and it shut down perfectly. Got home and it wouldn’t work.
Is there a way to keep My Book Live from showing up on the network for the laptop? Is there some setting we need to do? is this a glitch in the WD?
