Hello

I have used this with no issues but noticed there is a circular button on the back. I don’t know what it is for.

When I unistall the drive fron the pc I peform a safety remove with the usb button then just unplug the drive’s ac power from the surge strip.

Is this ok or should I be medoing anything with the button. I have valuable images there so need to do this right.

It may be a power button but that only works with Smartware installed.
