I’m running Win 7 and an older motherboard w/o USB 3.0 ports, so rather than connect the 3.0 USB connection from the hard drive to the USB 2.0 available connection on my MB, (which it works but is dog slow). I am trying to connect it to the eSata connection via a couple of converter plugs in order to obtain a faster connection speed than USB 2.0.
When I plug it in, it doesn’t recognize the hard drive. Suggestions? Do you have a driver I can try to do it, or any help would be appreciated!
