Hi Folks,

Ive mislaid the power unit so can someone tell me what the polarity of the centre pin ie is pin 12v + or 12v - as I have a number of 12v power units but some have centre 12V + & others have 12v -.

This may be different depending of the My Book version you have. To verify this you may contact WD tech support with your model number.

Must of the drives I have form WD are center positive.

I will be good for you to provide the model number of the drive you have.
