Hi,

I’d like to use WD smartware to back up files to my ‘My Book Essential 2.0’. BUT as this is listed under ‘products without WD Smartware’ am i right in assuming i cant do it?

Is my only option to use third party back up software?

There are plenty of free and low-cost backup applications that are much better than WD SmartWare.
