Pre-purchase question

Apologies in advance for asking, if this seems like a silly question.

I am thinking of getting a WD My Book Duo. What I want to do is simply drag my photos, onto the Duo’s (set up in Raid 1 configuration) so that it mirrors those photos in the second of the two RAID drives. I do NOT want to create a backup of the photos on my computer. I want to MOVE/DRAG the folders of photos onto the Duo.
So basically, I will be using the Duo as a backup drive,only turning it on when i need to move a new folder over.

Yes, you can drag n drop data files or folders in My Book Duo. In RAID-1 configuration, data files stored in drive-1 will be mirrored to drive-2.
