I hope somebody can help me…
I have one WD RED 1.5Tb and one WD BLUE 3Tb that I’m using one for my regular backup (Time machine) and the smaller for general storage. They both are connected separately to my iMac with slow USB.
I’m considering to buy a WD My Book Duo I found without hard disks to have both disks in the same cabinet.
My idea is just to have them in a more stable/safer “box” and faster connectivity. Considering I don’t need any redundancy of data nor extra security (both disks are acting as back.up), I was thinking to set them up as JBOD being separate units.
I have last macOS version (catalina)…
Will this work? Can I configure the MyBook as JBOD to act as described?
