Hi there

I have two of the new My Book Duo’s external Drives (2x16 TB ProductPage ) attached to my Mac Pro 2013.
As the new Firmware Updater came out on the 11/15 I downloaded it and checked for updates for my drives.
The installer told me to only attach one drive at a time, which I did and it showed me an update to version 1.008 from 1.006.
I started the upgrade and did the power-off/restart as told (on both drives).
The strange part however is, that the firmware still show version 1.006 and when I recheck with the Updater it tells me
there’s the update to version 1.008 which I already did…Also it seems to me, that the drives now are slower when copying data as before the update.

Can somebody confirm this behaviour ??

I just saw that there was a newer Firmware Updater released on the 5th of December.
Downloaded and updated my drives again to Version 1.009. All went well, but the Version is still being identified
as Version 1.006. At least the copying speed seems to be back to normal levels :wink:
