My Book Duo - Ejecting Unnecessarily

Hello,

I’m running a My Book Duo 4TB on Raid 1 with OS X El Capitan v10.11.5 on an iMac 3.5GHz, 8GB

If I don’t eject the drive before putting the Mac to sleep I get a warning unto start up that says Disk Ejected Unecpetedly, followed by the utility program coming up saying that I have Raid configuration issues and to test it. I do the tests and all is fine. Basically, I have to reboot, at which point it starts fine and there’s no issues.

Is there anything I can do, or am I doing something I shouldn’t?

Hello,

It is possible the computer is shutting down the USB ports when it goes to sleep. Go through your computer setting and take a look at setting that are related to USB power

Thank you for this. Although, I’ve been through my settings and can’t find the USB settings. I don’t suppose anyone knows where it is?
