My book don't connect to second PC

My new My Book ( TB connected nicely to my mail PC by installing software etc., and I installed it password protected.

When I wanted to backup a series of old PC’s nothing happened when connecting to a Windows 7 machine. I can’t “see” it.

What do I do wrong?
