Move data back to external drive?

hello, i moved some old pictures that were from my old pc onto the mybook. then iwanted to make a dvd of the pictures so i moved the pics on to my c drive on my new computer. and it was too massive to do a dvd. but now my c drive is almost full. and i need to know how to put the data back on to mybook and free up the c drive. any help? thanks

It is a bad idea to trust one drive with important data. Internal or external it doesn’t matter who makes it one copy of important data is not safe.

You can put the data back manually:  How to move or copy files from one hard drive to another in Windows, however as Joe_s said, is never recommended to trust your important data to one drive only.
