 How do I find the model number on an old device? 

I can see s/n and p/n but no model number…it has a vertical blue light on front.

I previoulsly used in on a PC now wish to transfer files to an iMac.  Suspecting that I need new software, but can’t identify which to download.

Please go to the following link and enter the P/N in the “Find by Model Number” and it will show the Model (My Book Essential 2.0, 3.0, etc.).
