I own the Sansa Clip Zip and Sansa Clip+ , instead of buying 2 SD cards can I swap 1 from each other? Thinking about getting a 16gb SD card. Zip is 4gb and clip is 2 gb.
You can, but the sandisk firmware will be painfully slow if you swap cards and it has to rebuild the database. I’d try to keep the one without the card powered off until you put the card back in so it doesn’t notice you pulled the card.
Honestly, I think it will be a hassle in the future. Just my opinion though.
I got a 32GB SDMC card on sale for $18, 16GB will be cheaper but I honestly feel that given the reasonable pricing of SDMC cards recently, buying a second will be well worth the money.
