Mac OSX 10.4 problem.....

I have the same problem…Santa brought both of my daughters a ScanDisk Fuze…I have Mac OSX…It is recognized but unable to open…I have it on MSP mode…when i plug in the usb it gives me this messageisk Insertion: The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer. I then click on “Initialize” & try to verify/repair the drive, but then I get “Verifying volume “disk2s1” ** /dev/disk2s1 Invalid BS_jmpBoot in boot block: 8f7689 Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit 1 non HFS volume checked Volume needs repair” Any thing???

As far as I know, there is no MSP mode, you must use MSC mode.

I’ve seen a similar report before but not seen an answer.  Here are some things to check.

There are three USB modes on the Fuze: MSC, MTP, and Auto-Detect.  You should set your Fuze to MSC mode.

Are you using the USB cable that was supplied with the Fuze, and not an iPod cable, which has a similar connector but does not work?  Be sure you are connecting the USB cable directly to the computer, and not through a USB hub or splitter.
