is it ok for the wheel to be loose on the sansa fuze?

Loose how? If you can spin it then you are fine. If its like falling off then you have a problem.

Again I ask how loose? Does it feel like its gonna fall off? Mine started out tighter and over time has gotten looser. If you feel like it might fall off Call Tech Support, but if its just looser than you remember you are probably fine.
