Looking to promote free Piano music can be used video production

Hi all! I’ve been looking for places to post my link so folks will
find my free music. If this isn’t an appropriate forum for that let
me know. You can find my music here
http://taylorhayward.org/freemusic.htm . I made it royalty free and
it’s currently being used in about three-hundred videos on the web.
Enjoy!

Taylor Hayward

Thanks, I’ll give your music a listen. You could always post it in the Off-Topic | Anything Goes board, Free Music Downloads thread.

Just a suggestion . . . maybe offer your downloads in either MP3 or FLAC format. With FLAC, whoever downloads it gets completely lossless music, the same as WAV, but in a smaller package. If they want to covert it to .mp3, .ogg, .aac or whatever they can do that on their own. Personally, I prefer the choice to either save space or to hear the music exactly as the artist intended and created.

Edit: After downloading, I have another comment. With MP3 format, I’d also offer it in a higher bit-rate (at least 256, more ideally 320). 160kbps is stripping out more than half of the musical information you’ve worked so hard to put into it.

That’s crappy advice. 160k is more then enough for MP3, particularly solo instruments. More important would be using a modern encoder and enabling proper stereo coding. Thats going to make way more difference then pumping up the bitrate for no reason.
