Couldn’t find anything about above anywhere. Trying to help a client. She didn’t realize she didn’t set the WD ext HD up to do backups that it was only configured to sync with her old (she got rid of the computer in '11) pc. She’s now migrated to a Mac and I can’t figure out how to access the data stored on the WDSync_v6_3_130 portion of the HD. Any assistance any of you can provide would be most helpful. Thanks in adance.
you need to connect to a windows xp/vista computer and extract using the Sync software that came with her drive
after that you can manually transfer to the Mac
no way to use WD Sync on Mac and you need the version that comes on the drive to restore the files
