We have a legacy My Passport with a bunch of files, mostly pictures. A little while ago we had to get our MS Surface Pro (yes, the original one) re-imaged. We reloaded the WD software. The drive is connected via the USB cable. It is receiving power and I can feel it running. But the Surface is not recognizing that anything is there.
Are there any suggestions before I send this for data recovery?
