FWIW, this is my first MP3 player so my questions are both generic and specific…
First, should I attempt to organize my music before I move it onto the clip? I have music on a couple of different computers plus will get some from my daughter.
Organization always is great, for your own ease and purposes in transferring music to/from the Clip. However, the Clip organizes/displays music using the music’s ID3 tags; that is what is needed in good form. (2 exceptions to the ID3 tag “rule”: audiobooks and podcasts, when labeled as such in the ID3 genre field or filed in their namesake folders, in which case the (other) ID3 fields do not need to be filled in (the Clip wll default to the music’s filename information).)
