Hallo all. I have a new 4 gb Sandisk MP4. It jumps and distorts podcasts from the BBC. The same file is O.K. on the Windows mediaplayer. How can I fix it?

I don’t see MP4 as being a supported format for the clip family. Try converting to MP3.

The file itself is mp3. My previous player was a cheap generic machine and I had no problems with this sort of file

Can you try copying and pasting to the Clip again? Perhaps it was a transfer issue.
What does this mean? “jumps and distorts”?
Are you sure the headphone plug is fully inserted in the player? When the player is new the headphone jack is tight, and it may take a bit of force to get the plug fully inserted.
