You can simply try formatting your drive to make space for other important data. However, simply formatting does not permanently wipe the drives data. So, if you want to clean sweep your drive then try using 3rd party data eraser tool such as BitRaser File Eraser that will help you wipe your drives data, beyond the scope of recovery.
