Is there any real advantage in the Extreme or is it just overpriced marketing?

Is there any real advantage in the Extreme or is it just overpriced marketing for a $1 faster memory controller that works with the same low-quality low-reliability memory?

More precisely - does the memory have extra correction bits? (other than the normal 6.67% that is coming anyway from the way how GB are calculated for storage vs for RAM) Or any extra correction features that for instance are not present in the Ultra of the same size?

I am asking since I would like to buy a very good (and very fast) 64GB microSD and the internet is full with reports about the low quality of the 64GB Ultra version and the Extreme could be an option (even if it costs about twice)  - IF (and only IF) there was any demonstrable reliability advantage!
