Is the SanDisk Warranty Coverage Status broken? 3 genuine microSD cards, including a brand new one from Amazon, failed lookup

Is anyone else having trouble getting their SanDisk microSD card to show up in SanDisk’s Warranty Coverage Status tool?

None of the last 3 brand SanDisk Extreme cards I’ve bought do, including a brand new one I bought from Amazon (sold and shipped direct from Amazon) last week. And yes, all were bought from reputable authorized retailers like Amazon, B&H, etc.

Any ideas?

Thanks, but I was asking for warranty status lookup without having to make a claim. Am I to understand that’s no longer possible?

Warranty Status lookup only works for drives that have serial numbers. Memory Cards and USB Flash Drives have batch codes and not serial numbers so the lookup will not work. Register the cards using this link.

OK gotcha. This seems to be different from the pre-WD merger days in which you could look up microSD cards by serial number. The change is disappointing, but thanks for the info.
