As announced on October 30, 2023, Western Digital plans to separate its HDD and Flash businesses, creating two independent, public companies with market-specific, strategic focus. The updates below for our specialized community websites is a necessary step in the company separation process. For more information, visit the Newsroom.
In alignment with this, HDD products from the SanDisk Community will be migrated to the Western Digital Community site: https://community.wd.com, starting December 13, 2024.
The following products and all related categories/topics/posts will move from this SanDisk Community to the Western Digital Community site:
- SanDisk Professional
- G-DRIVE series (HDD), G-RAID SHUTTLE Series (HDD)
- Ibi
We also now have two specialized support websites:
Western Digital Support will continue to support all HDDs and platform products. SanDisk Support will support all flash products from the Western Digital family of brands.
