How to restore Sansa Express 1.0 GB

I have accidentally formatted (fat) my Sansa Express 1.0 GB MP3 player.  Nothing will show up on the display and when I connect it to my Win7 PC it shows only as a Removable Disk.

How do I restore the MP3 player and the working files?

I lost all my music when I formatted. How can I get it back.

You can’t if you formatted it. formatting clears (erases) and optimizes the memory space.

If this was quick format, then try some recovery utility. Like Recuva or Restoration or ZAR.
