How do I write protect my Cruzer blade 32GB?

I just bought a Cruzer Blade 32GB for the recovery files of my laptop.

I can’t find any switch on it to write protect and I haven’t been able to find the user guide for this stick.

Anyone know how to write protect it?

According to some postings here just keep using it and it will become write protected, permanently.

But no, there is no write protect switch on most USB drives these days.

Thanks Ed, for posting what I was thinking!

No need to enable write protect here. I think you just need to make sure that the drive cannot be accessed by someone else. That should do the trick.
