My SmartWare.swstor is huge. It’s taking up the majority of the space on my drive. Is there anything I can do to make that smaller?
You may navigate the .swstor folder, however, deleting files may cause for WD SmartWare to lose track of the backup and treat the entire folder as “additional files”, which would force WD SmartWare to start a new backup from the very begining.
WD SmartWare was made to keep files and not erase them. If the backup volume becomes very large, then a recommendation would be to backup fewer systems.

If you want for your volume to match your system then stop using smartware and install a sync software instead.
You can also use imaging software that has compression in it. I have my system partitioned and the system image is about half the actual size I use acronis True Image.
