Ok, so I got my Fuze Plus earlier this afternoon. I updated thr firmware and then I went to sync my music. The player wants to also sync ALL of my photos and place them on the Fuze Plus! How do I NOT sync photos?

That’s a setting in WMP. You have to de -select what you don’t want it to sync.
Another reason why I say “sync stinks”. Whatever WMP can do, you can do the same without it. It’s only a matter of transferring files; it’s not rocket science.
thats also precisely why i didnt want anything apple or my brothers zune. i wanted full copy and paste control.
