Why do they only make the 8gb in silver… (well i saw a black one on amazon… are these really 8gb or 4gb?)
I think that should be one of the future changes they make. I mean the color doesn’t affect anything except the outside casing right?
This is one of the marketing strategy, that is why SanDisk manufacture devices with colors and it depends also in capacity but yes SanDisk also have the black 8GB and maybe in the future as they see this post they can use this as reference and use different colors adding more styles. 
The black color was added to the 8GB Fuze about 9 months ago I think, but since the original color was silver, there’s probably more of them around.
Why SanDisk did it this way is anybody’s guess. There’s nothing more basic & popular than black, even with all the other colors available.
If you’re wanting an 8GB black model, look around . . . you’ll be able to find one, I’m sure.

i want a red one… desperatly! I read of someone on here that had a broken red 4 g and a silver 8g so he just switched the covers… but i would probably end up breaking both of them… 
I really wanted pink! But at $74.39 for the black 8gb and $64.25 for the pink 4gb, I couldn’t pass up the 4gb extra for only $10 just because it had a pretty face…believe me I tried

For the difference, you could always buy a bottle or two of pink nail polish & DIY.
Or put on a silicon skin of your desired color. A silicon skin or some other protection is a good idea regardless. Just about any color skin would work with a silver fuze, I would think.
Gotta make your own! I have a Blue 8gb, was originally a 4gb. Have a Red 8gb going together soon. And…a Pink 8gb will go together when I get another good LCD. Also have a custom Black 8gb Clip with silver ring and chrome side buttons from a Silver 4 gb.
Some of us like to tinker instead of playing video games - LOL!!!

Ha!!! As long as your spraying…I’ll have a Fuze with Mercedes Heavy Metallic Silver base with Candy Blue 50’s style flames with Candy Grape tips. Then bury it all with Clear so I don’t feel the layer ridges.

My dad owns a car repair and is real good buddies with the towns body shop… So all i have to do for car stuff is to bat my eyelids and say “daddddddy…!!!” lol, not that i drive yet, but i am planning on using that technique alot…lol at least till i get to old to

Actually, if you want a pink Fuze 8gb just get a 4gb player and add a 4gb (or 8gb) usd card to it. The 4gb memory cards are very cheap and the 8gb cards are reasonably cheap nowdays.
