Help needed to access my WD5000MES passbook ext drive

Hi I need help to get my WD5000MES working - when I plug in to my laptop USB port  -  it doesn’t shows up, the like on the passbook is blinking. Previously was working! Seems like there is no data.

It says parameter incorrect, thus not accessible to it.

The system ask me to format the hard disk again. What should I do?  as this will wipe out my data ?  Is there something I can do to recover?

you can use Recuva to get the files…

After the formatting will correct the partition issue
