While the sansa express player was charging, my pc crashed and there was a blue screen. After resetting the pc, the sansa express continued to show " connecting", even after removing from the usb. No amount of fiddling with the controls of the player, helped. After 3-4 hours the battery drained, and the screen showed briefly’ Sandisk’. Now the player won’t charge and it does not show on ‘My Computer’. It does show in the Device Manager as ‘Portable Device’, and under ‘properties’ it shows “this device cannot start”, ‘code 10’. How do I reinstal the drivers for the player ?
I’ve had this happen and a hard reset fixed it. “Vol +” and center square button at the same time.
Tried even that route, but no solution, the player remains ‘dead’.
