have the 2TB drive and have used fine for months. purchased another 2TB drive for back up. Prior to copying the hard drive, i set up the new drive. all is well. when i tried to open the older drive, it unlocked but the file folder does not appear as it usually does, the data is there because i went to another laptop and easily opened the drive saw the files. i then transferred the old data to the new drive. that drive is fine. any advice as to what i can do with the problem on my passport 2TB drive?
The new drive opens on my original laptop. the old drives unlocks but does not open though i know the data is there.
your advice is welcome.
